Jarrod becomes patron of the Albert Kennedy Trust
The AKT provides lesbian, gay & bisexual young people who are
homeless or living in a hostile environment with lesbian or gay homes
where they can live and rebuild their lives.
Whether it is building up their self-esteem, finding a job, making friends, learning life skills or reconciling them to their parents, our carers are there for them.
The service they provide is mainly for 16-18 year old young people (up to 21years old will be considered depending on the individual circumstances) and is called a 'supported lodgings scheme'
This is something close to Jarrods heart and was over the moon to be the patron.
It is also Jarrods chosen charity for the Games on Channel 4
