Leicester Pride

Mark will be one of the main celebrity guests at this weekends Leicester Pride weekend ...duties will include.....

(a) do an autograph signing session in the Rainbow and Dove marquee on at the Pride Festival on the park (during the afternoon for 1 hour)

(b) do a "stars behind the bar" session at the pub for one hour (apparently this is something that they occassionally do - partly because their venue is always so packed with customers, there is literally no where else for the stars to go except behind the bar.)

also involve serving some drinks -- but under the watchful eye of the resident . The capacity of the pub is about 300 to 400 people when fully packed.

In terms of Mark's appearance on the stage at the Pride Festival that would be from 5.15 to 5.45 p.m. comparing the prizes and being involved in the judging of the Drag King and Queen competition.

Jeans for Genes is pleased to be celebrating 10 years of denim mania, which has been providing important funds for genetic research. celebrity models to bring you the High Street to Haute Couture fashion show.

Jeans for Genes is a simple and fun fundraising scheme, which invites children and adults to wear jeans on the 7th October 2005 in return for donating a minimum on 1. The scheme raises funds for four national charities: The Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, The Primary Immunodeficiency Association, The CGD Research Trust and The Society for MPS Disease. The funds
raised not only pioneer research into serious and life-threatening genetic disorders affecting thousands of children, but also provide valuable advice and support for affected families. In the UK, one baby in every 33 is born with a genetic disorder or birth defect... that's one born every 30 minutes whose life could be affected.

Over the last 10 years the campaign has raised in excess of £20 million and this year it aims to raise £4 million. Therefore to encourage further donations and mark the 10th anniversary, Jeans for Genes have captured the imagination of the denim industry to bring to you "High Street to Haute Couture".
