Jeans for Genes

Mark will be one of the main Models for this event...enjoying every minute i guess!!!!

Jeans for Genes is pleased to be celebrating 10 years of denim mania, which has been providing important funds for genetic research. To mark the occasion we are bringing some of the top denim high street and designer brands together, including Oasis, FCUK, Paper Denim Cloth and DKNY, who will work with our
celebrity models to bring you the High Street to Haute Couture fashion show.

Jeans for Genes is a simple and fun fundraising scheme, which invites children and adults to wear jeans on the 7th October 2005 in return for donating a minimum on 1. The scheme raises funds for four national charities: The Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, The Primary Immunodeficiency Association, The CGD Research Trust and The Society for MPS Disease. The funds
raised not only pioneer research into serious and life-threatening genetic disorders affecting thousands of children, but also provide valuable advice and support for affected families. In the UK, one baby in every 33 is born with a genetic disorder or birth defect... that's one born every 30 minutes whose life could be affected.

Over the last 10 years the campaign has raised in excess of £20 million and this year it aims to raise £4 million. Therefore to encourage further donations and mark the 10th anniversary, Jeans for Genes have captured the imagination of the denim industry to bring to you "High Street to Haute Couture". This is the
first time so many denim brands have join together to support such a great cause.

Expect to see the best of the denim collections and exclusive one-off designs from ASOS.com, Earl, Falmers, Matalan, FCUK, Kookai, London Denim, Oasis, River Island, Pepe, Saltworks, Evisu, Warehouse, Ben Sherman, Firetrap, Mavi, True Religion, J&Co, Paper Denim Cloth, Tsubi, DKNY, David Bitton, Sass & Bide, Frost
